Specialised Speech Therapy Fairfield Services

Every person’s goals are different, which is why we tailor our speech therapy services to their individual needs. Across Fairfield, our team supports adults and seniors with a range of neurological conditions and swallowing difficulties, including:

Stroke Recovery

Stroke can affect speech, language, cognition, and swallowing. We provide personalised rehabilitation to help individuals regain communication skills, improve swallowing function, and build confidence throughout their recovery.

Parkinson's Disease

Parkinson’s disease can lead to changes in voice volume, speech clarity, facial expression, and swallowing. Therapy focuses on maintaining effective communication, supporting safe swallowing, and helping people stay engaged in everyday life.

Dementia

As dementia progresses, communication needs can change over time. Our speech therapists work with individuals, families, and carers to develop practical strategies that support meaningful communication and preserve quality of life.

Swallowing Assessments

A swallowing assessment helps identify the cause and severity of swallowing difficulties, allowing our speech therapists to recommend appropriate therapy, dietary modifications, and strategies that promote safe eating and drinking.

Dysphagia

Swallowing difficulties can make eating and drinking challenging and increase the risk of choking or aspiration. We assess swallowing function and develop tailored management plans to support safer, more comfortable mealtimes.

Mealtime Safety

We partner with Supported Independent Living (SIL) providers and residential aged care facilities to assess mealtime environments, identify potential risks, and recommend practical strategies that promote safer dining experiences for residents.
