A standard 45-minute speech therapy session at Brighter Futures Allied Health costs $205, while a standard speech and language assessment starts from $603.99, including a summary letter. If you’re accessing speech therapy through the NDIS, fees are generally charged in line with the current NDIS Pricing Arrangements. Our team can explain all fees and funding options before your first appointment.
A referral isn’t required to book a private speech therapy appointment. However, if you’re hoping to access Medicare rebates through a Chronic Condition Management (CCM) Plan, you’ll need to see your GP to determine your eligibility and provide the appropriate referral. Fairfield residents can speak with their regular GP at local medical centres or clinics, including those around Fairfield CBD, or at outpatient services associated with Fairfield Hospital if they’re already receiving ongoing care.
Yes. Adults, seniors, parents, carers, and support coordinators can contact Brighter Futures Allied Health directly to arrange an appointment. If you’re funded through the NDIS, you can also self-refer provided your plan includes funding for speech therapy.
Our team includes speech therapists who speak Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Assyrian, aside from English. We strive to provide culturally responsive care and will do our best to match you with a therapist who can communicate in your preferred language whenever possible.
