Brighter Futures Allied Health provides clinic-based, mobile and online speech pathology and occupational therapy services to families across South Western Sydney and surrounding suburbs.

We are dedicated to providing exceptional speech and occupational therapy services to families in need of support in managing disability and acquired language difficulties.

At our clinic, we believe in taking the time to get to know each and every family we work with. We understand that every family has their unique set of needs, goals and concerns, which is why we take the time to actively listen and understand your needs.

We provide a wide range of speech pathology and occupational therapy services, including communication and language assessments, fine and gross motor support, sensory and emotional regulation strategies, individual therapy sessions, group programs, and family guidance. Our therapists work closely with families, carers and other health professionals to ensure each child receives coordinated, holistic care that supports their development across home, school and community settings.

Services are available in our clinic, through mobile visits, and via Telehealth where appropriate, offering flexibility to suit your child’s needs and your family’s routine.

Director

William

William is the director on our team with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) from the University of Sydney.

William brings over a decade of experience working in the disability sector providing services to clients with complex communication needs, dysphagia, and acquired language impairments. He brings a wealth of experience across different therapy techniques and the latest research to best help children and adults achieve their communication and mealtime goals.

William is passionate about making therapy practical and accessible. He enjoys working with clients and their families in everyday settings such as homes, schools and community settings. Alongside his clinical work, William also supports our wonderful team of speech pathologists and supervises student placements, helping to guide the next generation of therapists.

William has completed additional training in a number of specialist approaches, including the Dysphagia Disorder Survey (DDS), Dysphagia Management Staging Scale (DMSS), Key Word Sign, LAMP Words for Life, Grid 3 software, and Hanen’s More Than Words program. He is also a certified trainer with the Crisis Prevention Institute and LSVT-LOUD Certified Clinician.

Senior Speech Pathologist

Kylie

Kylie has a Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honours) in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney. She is trained in DIR Floor-time, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, Key Word Sign, and Sounds-Write.

Kylie Huynh is a passionate speech pathologist with experience working with children and young adults to conduct speech therapy assessments and interventions. She is committed to making therapy practical and meaningful, tailoring each session to suit her clients’ individual needs and helping them achieve real-world communication goals.

Alongside her clinical work, Kylie provides supervision and training to staff, fostering professional growth and best practice. She has a special interest in speech sound disorders, preschool and school-aged language, AAC, social skills and literacy.

Kylie has previously worked as a research assistant in the VietSpeech project at Charles Sturt University, which aims to support Vietnamese-Australian children and families to maintain their home language. Being bilingual in Vietnamese, she connects directly with Vietnamese-speaking families and ensure intervention is delivered effectively. Kylie holds a Bachelor’s Degree (First Class Honours) in Speech Pathology from the University of Sydney and has completed training in DIR/Floortime, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, Key Word Sign, Sounds-Write, LAMP Words for Life, and Social Thinking.

Senior Speech Pathologist

Libby

Libby is a Speech Pathologist with a Master of Speech Pathology degree from Griffith University.

Libby holds a current membership with Speech Pathology Australia as a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist. She is experienced in working with preschool, school aged children and young adults in clinic, community and telehealth settings.

Libby has a passion for developing relationships with her clients and their families and supporting children to develop their communication skills. She prides herself on coupling evidence-based practices with a child’s interests to facilitate engagement and enjoyment in sessions. She combines all her experiences and knowledge to tailor therapeutic learning experiences for each client to support them in reaching their full potential.

Libby has training and experience in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2) and certificates for SOS feeding, Key Word Signing, LAMP Words for Life and Hanen More than Words.

With her approachable nature and strong background in customer service, Minnie works closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

She understands the importance of creating a welcoming and supportive environment for families and works closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Minnie brings excellent organisational and communication skills to her role. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, managing client records, and supporting the smooth delivery of services to families.

As the first point of contact for many families seeking allied health services with our team, Minnie is dedicated to providing professional, compassionate support and ensuring every client’s experience at the clinic is positive and inclusive.

Sarah D

Sarah completed a Masters of Speech Pathology at the University of Sydney and is a Certified Member of Speech Pathology of Australia. She is trained in LAMP Words For Life and has completed the Traffic Jam In My Brain Workshop.

Sarah Dang is a dedicated speech pathologist who enjoys working with neurodivergent clients of all ages, with a particular focus on supporting children and their families. She is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships and delivering evidence-based practices to help clients achieve their communication goals.

Sarah has a special interest in early intervention, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), speech sounds and literacy. She is committed to providing engaging, individualised sessions that celebrate each child’s unique strengths, helping them build confidence so they can actively communicate in their everyday environments. She works collaboratively with families, teachers, and other professionals to create practical strategies that support communication development across home, school, and community settings.

Sarah has completed additional training to support her caseload to ensure her practice reflects the most recent evidence-based approaches. This includes Sounds-Write, Hanen More Than Words, LAMP Words for Life and Traffic Jam in my Brain.

Lily

Lily is an enthusiastic speech pathologist with several years of experience in supporting children and adults to reach their goals by enhancing their communication and swallowing capabilities.

Lily is an enthusiastic speech pathologist with several years of experience in helping children and adults reach their goals by enhancing their communication and swallowing capabilities. She is also passionate about community engagement and advocacy for the profession, regularly engaging in projects to increase access to speech pathology services (e.g., group intervention programs, training support workers/childcare staff), as well as supporting students and fellow speech pathologists to develop their skills.

With a heart for making every “voice” heard and understood, Lily has gained extensive experience with taking a holistic and functional approach to speech therapy. Due to the nature of her work, she has a special interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), literacy development, and the impact of multilingualism on communication disorders.

Lily graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) (Honours Class I) from the University of Sydney. She has also completed the following training: Key Word Sign, LAMP Words for Life, Hanen: More Than Words, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training, and Sounds-Write.

Angelina

Angelina is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with Speech Pathology Australia. She completed her Master of Speech and Language Pathology course after attaining a Bachelor of Speech and Hearing Sciences at Macquarie University.

Angelina is a passionate and dedicated speech pathologist who believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate – regardless of modality. Working within a private clinic setting, she provides holistic, evidence-based, and client-centred care tailored to each individual’s unique strengths and needs.

Angelina enjoys working with both children and adults, supporting individuals across a wide range of areas including speech sound development, expressive and receptive language, literacy, and social communication. She is committed to helping her clients build confidence and meaningful connections through effective communication.

To ensure accessibility and continuity of care, Angelina offers services in a variety of settings. She regularly travels to schools, childcares, day programs, and homes, supporting clients in their natural environments and collaborating closely with families, educators, and support teams.

Angelina has also completed additional training to further enhance her practice, including: Hanen: More Than Words, LAMP Words for Life, DIR/Floortime, and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training.

Lisa is a passionate Speech Pathologist dedicated to delivering personalised, evidence-based care to support individuals and families to reach their full communication potential. Lisa is committed to creating a supportive environment where communication can grow with confidence, clarity, and connection.

She takes a warm and collaborative approach, working closely with clients to tailor therapy to their unique needs, strengths, and goals. Lisa is committed to creating a supportive environment where communication can grow with confidence, clarity, and connection.

Lisa has a strong interest in working across the lifespan and across a variety of practice areas, from early childhood through to adulthood. She values the opportunity to support individuals at different life stages and is experienced in delivering therapy in a range of settings, including clinics, homes, schools, and via telehealth. This flexibility allows her to provide accessible, meaningful support that fits seamlessly into her clients’ everyday lives.

Mary

Mary is a dedicated speech pathologist with a passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan to build meaningful communication skills.

Mary is a dedicated speech pathologist with a passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals across the lifespan to build meaningful communication skills. She has experience working with both children and adults with a wide range of communication needs. Her areas of interest include early intervention, social communication, and literacy. She also has experience in supporting speech, language, and fluency, as well as using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to provide effective communication support for individuals with diverse needs.

Mary works across a variety of contexts including the clinic, schools, day programs, home visits, and telehealth, ensuring therapy is flexible and accessible to everyone. She has completed additional training in Hanen More Than Words, Basic Key Word Sign and CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Training, which she integrates into her sessions to make communication more accessible and meaningful.

Driven by her passion for communication, Mary supports individuals in finding their voice and building lasting connections with those around them. Whether it’s helping a child express their first words, supporting families with practical strategies, or empowering adults to regain confidence in their communication, she strives to create a supportive, engaging, and positive therapy journey for every client.

Speech Pathologist

Marina

Marina is a dedicated speech pathologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) (Honours Class I) from the University of Sydney.

Marina is a dedicated Speech Pathologist who supports clients across the lifespan to communicate meaningfully and effectively across a range of environments. She is passionate about family-centered practice, with clinical interests spanning speech and language disorders, multimodal communication (AAC), literacy, voice disorders, and fluency (e.g., stuttering). From selecting goals collaboratively to consulting with external professionals as needed, Marina embraces an open, multidisciplinary approach where families feel empowered and involved alongside key stakeholders caring for their loved ones.

With a research background in Primary Progressive Aphasia, Marina is also committed to supporting individuals with neurodegenerative conditions - helping preserve their communication and quality of life through compassionate, evidence-based therapy.

Marina graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Speech Pathology) (Honours Class I) from the University of Sydney. She speaks Assyrian (native proficiency) and understands Arabic, allowing her to connect with culturally and linguistically diverse families to tailor therapy to their needs. She works both on-site and via telehealth at our Canley Heights and Edensor Park clinics.

Marina has completed training in Sounds-Write, DIR Floortime (101), Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT-Loud) and gestalt language processing (from Meaningful Speech).

Occupational Therapist

Jennie

Jennie is a passionate occupational therapist who takes a strength-based, neuro-affirming approach to supporting individuals across the lifespan.

Jennie is a passionate occupational therapist who takes a strength-based, neuro-affirming approach to supporting individuals across the lifespan. She works collaboratively with individuals and their families to support participation in everyday activities, with a focus of understanding each person’s strengths, interests and individual ways of interacting with their environment.

Jennie has experience working with children and young adults with a wide range of support needs. Her areas of interest include early intervention, fine motor development, emotional regulation, and building functional skills that support independence in daily life. This includes skills related to self-care, play, school participation and developing routines that support regulation and engagement.

Jennie is committed to neuro-affirming practice, supporting individuals in ways that respect their autonomy, identity, and unique needs. She works with children through play-based interventions, partners with families to develop strategies that support participation and regulation at home and in the community and helps young adults build skills that enhance their quality of life and meaningful engagement.

Jennie has completed additional training including DIR 101, the ABC-IDEAS Framework, Kid Link Achieving Handwriting Success, and Kid Link Foundations of Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice. She integrates these approaches into her sessions to ensure therapy is evidence-based and meaningful.

Our Allied Health Assistants work in collaboration with our clinicians to deliver high quality, results driven services to our clients.

Our Allied Health Assistants work under the supervision of our qualified Speech Pathologists to deliver prescribed therapy plans and can provide additional therapy sessions where needed.
