A standard 45-minute speech therapy session at Brighter Futures Allied Health starts from $205. Assessment fees vary depending on the type of assessment required. Eligible clients may also be able to access funding through the NDIS, Medicare or private health insurance.
A GP referral isn’t required to book a private speech therapy appointment at Brighter Futures Allied Health. However, if you’re accessing Medicare through a Chronic Condition Management Plan or another funding pathway, you’ll need to speak with a GP first. Bankstown residents can visit their local GP or medical centres such as Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital GP services or Bankstown Medical & Dental Centre to discuss a referral if appropriate.
In some cases, yes. Eligible people may receive a partial Medicare rebate through a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan. Medicare rebates usually cover only part of the session cost, and eligibility depends on your individual circumstances.
